The occupancy agreement serves as a proprietary lease between the cooperative and the member. The agreement grants the member the right to live in a specific unit, provided they abide by the terms of the occupancy agreement, pay their monthly service fee, and abide by the rules and regulations set forth by the board of directors. The occupancy agreement outlines obligations of the cooperative to the member, and the member to the cooperative.
