The Statement of Intent is to a Cooperative what the Articles of Incorporation are to a corporate entity. It provides the basis of starting a cooperative entity. It is filed with the Secretary of Stated until the cooperative board is formed. Usually by three cooperative members. Riverside Crossing will complete the process of forming the cooperative when two more people buy a share in the cooperative and form the Board of Directors. The Council on Aging is the first member on the board.
