The land lease is between the Riverside Crossing Cooperative and the Ravalli County Council on Aging. The Council retains and leases the 8.5 acres that the cooperative common areas and cottages are built on. It also retains the 2.5 acre park area that the cooperative is built around. The land lease provides for a specific amount to be paid to the Council for the lease of the land. The Council is responsible for the base tax value of the both the 8.5 acres and the 2.5 park area. The land lease charge is part of your monthly service fee that is paid to the cooperative.
